JOHN SPENCE SCHOOL Training is permitted on the field, but Managers MUST report & sign in at the Sports Hall first and receive advice on what space is available.  This is due to areas that have been re-seeded during the closed season, and which MUST be avoided.   A limited number of pitches will be available from 21st.August.

U11 DIVISIONAL CUP FINAL North Shields Juniors won 4 - 1 in the U11 Divisional Cup Final in a great game against North Shields Boca at Percy Main. Both teams played some excellent football in front of a big crowd and both teams were a credit to North Shields Juniors.

FOOTBALL BOOTS APPEAL Our very own commercial manager, John Brunton is visiting Africa later this year, and following on from our own dealings with the RAF appeal, he has made direct contact with a Club in Africa, whose members adore football, but are used to playing on dust pitches in their bare feet. John has already taken two sets of strips and Football boots from our Club. but is now launching another boot & strip appeal and would be grateful for old boots (in reasonable condition) which may be lying around in peoples homes. If you have any old football boots please feel free to drop them off at the Club office at John Spence School on Tuesday evenings between 6.15pm & 8.30pm.

CHARTER STANDARD COMMUNITY CLUB AWARD Newcastle United's Steven Taylor came along to John Spence High School in North Shields on Tuesday 19th Feburuary 2008 to present the Commitee and the Players of North Shields Juniors AFC with the Charter Standard Community Club Award. Players, Coaches and Players families turned out on a bitterly cold night to see Steven present the award to John Farrage, Club Chairman. Congratulations to the Committee and all Club memebers on the achievement of this award.
