The lasses held there own in the first half score only 2-1 down

Playing with the wind and a sloppy pitch,but NHP just steps up a gear ,took us  to the cleaners in the 2nd half

The lasses played there best game of the season with 10 girls ,

Both teams playing great football ,2 stunning goals from Becca Hansen,

Cramlington come back in to the games 2nd half ,but lass hung on for a great win

Football is a funny all game one week playing great football next well

Bedlington playing with 9 girls ,played out of there skins hit Sheilds on the counter attack

3 good attacks and 3 good goals ,The lasses could of been there all day ,made tons of chances but never look like score Best team won

Playing some great football not given Blyth anytime on the ball ,Lasses press the ball as a team

day nether team would of score, The ball just  would not go in ,The bar or post were constantly hit

Game was good both teams going all out to win. Kay McBride scored her fist goal for the club 

Hexham hit back not long after ,With 5mins to go in the game  Shaunna play es a 40 yard pass splitting the defence open for Chantelle to run onto slam the  ball home

The lasses back in action.after a long long lay off with the weather .

The Lasses were very rusty .never got going at all, the better team won by far

The Lass playing again with only 9 girls,They put up a great fight against a good team

playing some good football and taken  the lead with a goal from Hayleigh Robb going 1 - 0 up,

The lass working very hard ,but could not hold out ,

The games was played at a fast pace,both teams going all out for the win

Hexham deserved the win ,Great goal from Rebecca Hanson, Shaunna Thrussell floated a

Free kick in to the box Rebecca's hitting it on the full volley ,unstoppable

23/10/10 North Sheilds JFC 3 v 2 LOWICK Girls

John Spence High School ko 11.00

 

The lasses still down to 10 players,home to Lowick Girls ,A team the Lasses could not beat last season

Was a cold wet windy morning but game was played at a high pace,it was end to end stuff,both team going all out

Shields struck fist blood with a great poachers goal form Haleigh Robb playing as the lone striker.Lowick  come straight back at Shields

Half time ,The Lasses 2-1 down but playing great football, Sheilds hit lowick on the counter attack Haleigh grabs her 2nd goal of the game

Both teams have chances, great Save from Hannah Leggett keeps the Lasses in the game. with a few minutes left in the game Shields brake

the ball is  played up to Haleigh ,she holds the ball up and plays in Rebecca Hansen.first time shoot ,Goal keeper saves it ,rebound falls back to Rebecca 

this time she slams it home

The first game of the season at home brings top of the league team  NHP United

Lasses still with only 10 players put up a great fight in the game, NHP were a well organised team ,they playing really good football

3-0 half time  but the girls never give up hope, few missed chances or bit of luck could made score a bit difference, Haleigh Robb  getting a consolation 

goal

The Lasses playing away for the 2nd week running ,few injures taken the team down to 10 player

Lasses got the game off with a quick  goal a 25yard shoot from Rebecca Hansen flew in to the top corner

The Lasses playing some great football with only 10 players ,another 25 yard for Rebecca and  Jessica Leggett

3-1 half time ,Lasses kept going in 2nd half kept running the socks off  . Shaunna Thrussell finished with a great header to finish the game off

The Lasses back in action ,getting there season off to a lose to a very good Cramlington side that had played 3 games all ready in the league

Both side playing good football ,Cramlington took there chances in the first half,2-0 . North Shields never give up  

have chance of there own ,all going off target Shields looking well rusty .

Well done girls
