North Shield's Juniors 1- 2 Lowick utd

The day was so hot Both teams finding hard to run in the heat,game stopping for drink breaks

Lasses on both teams playing good football.Lowick took the lead hitting Shield's on the break.long ball over the top for the  forward to run onto smashed it into the net

The lead did not last long Shield's hit back with an over head kick from Shaunna Thrussell that looped over the keepers head

2nd Half both teams going for the win both teams missing good chances,Last 5 Min's of the game Shield's get hit on the break winger crossed the ball hit of the defender ball

falls to the forward open  goal .2-1 to Lowick ,The Lasses go searching for a goals pumping the ball into the box every chance ,looking for a little break to fall there way

last min of the game ball falls for Shield's forward .she hit a great shot and a little flick of the defender takes the ball onto the bar on over it goes.

The Lasses back into the swing of thing there Last game of the season ,Lasses put everything in to this game

New look Ponteland  3 teams joining to gather from the league to make 1 team.Shield were very strong never let up

Needing the  win to go 6 points clear at the top of the league with 2nd place still had 1 game to play

Now just waiting on results and league to conform use as LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

The cup semi final Lasses started of very slow ,going behind in the fist 10mins of the game

Ashington hitting Shields in the counter attack with the long ball over the top working well

Big wake up call for the Lasses as they went behind ,did not take long for Shields to hit back with a great goal from April Hunter dancing pass 4 defenders

slotting the ball home .The LASSES never looked back took control of the game

The Lasses back playing after another long lay off .Game was played  at a high pace

Lasses flow out the blocks from the kick off , goals in the 3rd min 6 min and 11min given Ashington no chance to settle in the game

Fantastic first half 5-0 at the break.2nd half was the same best team performance of the season Great Hat trick by Demi Slessor

The first half was a bit slow girls taken a full half to get back playing again.

Some great football played to get the all the  goals Massive team effort ,Hayleigh getting her first goal for the team

and her best game to date.

Game was played  at a high pace going from box to box.Rebbecca open the scoring.

The Lasses faced there  first defeat of the season,Lowick took the game to Shields ,stronger in the tackles, faster passing and movement ,wanted to win more.

Shields never  got started ,never looked like getting into the game, they try ed and try ed ,right result

Game was played on a 3g pitch ,Took the girls a full half to get used to playing on the surface

Much better 2nd half good will and to great goals new play Demi Slessor. All 3 new players fitted in well making this team even stronger

Game of two half's

Taken nothing away from Wallsend thay played Shields of the park,in the fist 30mins going 3-0 up, Shields never got going in the fist half ,sloppy defending through out the team half  time 3-0 down . With a good team talk fixing all the problems .The Lasses now know what  has to be done to get back in to this game.What a great fight back winning the 2nd half 8-1 Great team preformins
