With windy and cold conditions both teams would have to play the ball on the floor,Shields did exactly that and within ten minutes soon scored the opening goal.After some great work down the left by Levi then Charlotte who cleverly flicked the ball on to Katie making no mistake 0-1.Constant possession and pressure by Shields soon created the next goal. Starting with Hanna controlling well in defence,pushing forward then passing to Zoe who hit an unstoppable shot into the top corner 0-2.Great passing skills by Shields forced a corner, Katie's ball in was riffled into the back of the net by Olivia 0-3. For the first time Wallsend ventured into Shields half however Rachel was on hand to break up the move,A long ball forward was controlled well and hammered home by Katie 0-4.

Shields scored almost instantly after the break with great team play putting Charlotte through who made no mistake and tucked it neatly past the keeper 0-5. Shields were dominating play,Wallsend were lucky not to concede again after good wing play by Katie saw Hannah latch onto the cross,the keeper got fingertips on the shot which rolled along the goal line,hit the post and back into the arms of the keeper.Continued pressure saw a defence splitting pass from Zoe to Hannah,she raced clear and smashed the ball into the corner of the net 0-6.Moments later a poor goal kick fell to Hannah 25 yards out,She drove into the box and drilled the ball past the keeper 0-7.From the restart good link up play saw Zoe smash home with a brilliant volley into the top corner 0-8.Katie then earned her hat-trick after turning past the defender and pushing it pass the keeper 0-9. Shields confidence was on a high and goals started flying in now,great ball by Frankie to Emily who blasted in 0-10.Emily now put Olivia through who scored from close range 0-11.Emily,Katie and Olivia all had shots which were either saved or hit the post.The one shot Wallsend had Caitlin still alert as ever, produced a fine save.Next it was Levi's turn to get on the score sheet as she raced clear and drilled home a low shot 0-12.Hanna forced the final goal after some poor defending by Wallsend, making the final score 0-13.

The first 5 minutes were a little scrappy with both sides a little rusty after the holiday break.The first chance fell to Levi after a good pass by Frankie but the shot was well saved.Bedlington responded but stout defending Rachael and Hannah kept them at bay.The first goal went to Shields after Katie pressurised the Bedlington left back,won the ball and put a good cross to Olivia who hit a superb volley into the top corner.0-1.Bedlington hit straight back and from the kick off a neat dribble finished with a cool shot into the corner of the Shields net.1-1.Bedlington grew in confidence and continued to push forward only to be halted by an impressive back three of Hannah,Rachael and Hanna.Shields countered and good link up play between Frankie and Levi ended with a shot by Frankie just over.Bedlington looked dangerous and when their No10 broke clear,a goal looked certain but Caitlin produced a great save tipping the ball over.From the resulting corner Katie headed well clear.Shields pressed and when the ball fell to Katie on the edge of the box she cooly slotted it into the corner.1-2.Shields grew in confidence and Charlotte went close with a good effort after Katie had put her clear.Katie then intercepted a Bedlington pass and found Olivia who put a defence splitting ball to Levi and she made no mistake with a neat shot.1-3.Levi almost scored just before the break but was foiled by a great save.

Bedlington came out straight on the attack and were unlucky when a fierce volley went just over.Shields responded and Katie made a great run down the right beating the fullback and picking out Olivia who hit a lovely first time volley only to see it hit the bar,fortunately Levi was on hand to head home the rebound.1-4.Katie almost increased the lead when she dribbled through the defence only to see her shot saved.Shields looked comfortable with Zoe commanding midfield and putting Olivia in with a chance but her shot went just wide.Zoe and Katie combined to create a another chance for Olivia but the keeper saved well.The game changed when a speculative long range shot by Bedlington bounced awkwardly in front of Caitlin and sneaked in.2-4.Bedlington seized on their luck and pressed hard and for the first time Shields looked nervous.The pressure paid off for Bedlington and a neat move ended with a tap in for the No10.3-4.Shields were under great pressure and looked in danger of conceding again however when Zoe and Katie returned to the field the ship was steadied.Zoe took control of the midfield once again and Shields gained their previous confidence.Katie battled hard on the left against 2 defenders and won the ball and put a quick pass to Frankie who took one more look and smashed the ball home from a tight angle 20yards out.A great goal and the tension was eased.3-5.From the restart,Katie won the ball and raced down the left beating 2 defenders before cutting in onto her right foot and lashed the ball into the corner.3-6.Bedlington had the last word when Caitlin could not hold a volleyed shot and their striker tapped in from close range.4-6.Zoe almost rounded off a solid performance in the last minute with a good run and shot just over the bar.

NORTH SHIELDS v MONTAGU AND FENHAM PUMAS SAT 03rd DECEMBER 2011 CUP GAME

FIRST HALF

Conditions were difficult and the first 5 minutes saw both sides coming to terms with a strong wind making control difficult.The first chance fell to shields when Zoe put a good ball to Katie who burst into the box,she put a great cross in but the ball was cleared,Puma's then turned defence into attack,they broke down the right,Shields thought they had cleared the danger by putting the ball out for a throw in,the throw in was knocked into the penalty area for a unmarked Montagu player to tap in.0-1.Poor defending by Shields.From the restart Olivia's great battling won a throw,the throw in was controlled by Katie,passed to Zoe who saw her fierce shot saved.Montagu were trying to get up to their same old tricks by wasting time and persistant fouling but unlike the previous away match the referee was fantastic and was taking no nonsense,he awarded a free kick for a blatant push in the back on Zoe.The ball in was a good one but two Shields players were rightly given offside.From the free kick,a Montagu player thought they were clean through until Rachael cleared the ball into touch.The resulting throw in was picked up by the left winger who drove inside and let fly from 30 yards out-Caitlin could do nothing as she watched the ball fly into the back of the net.0-2.Credit where credit is due,Shields never let their heads go down,kept passing and creating chances and soon got their rewards when they won a corner.Levi put a great ball in which Katie controlled and shot,the keeper parried,Katie shot again,this time the ball rebounded to Rachael who made no mistake and hammered the ball in to make it 1-2.Five minutes later a great run down the left by Katie battling past 2 last ditch tackles,she then hit a great shot only to be foiled by the keepers hand,then post-however Charlotte was on hand to slot in for a deserved equaliser.2-2.Near the end of the half,Zoe worked the ball out of defence using Emily then onto Levi who drove up the line-Montagu's defender put the ball out for a throw.Zoe launched the ball to Charlotte who controlled well,her pass split Montagu's defence-Levi ran onto the through ball and slid it under the keeper to give Shields a 3-2 lead at half time.

SECOND HALF

In the opening minutes,possession was pretty even but it was Montagu created the first chance,they worked there way into the box after some great interplay and hit a fierce shot which Caitlin produced a fantastic diving save to deny a clear cut chance.From the goal kick Zoe controlled well,put Levi through,she raced towards goal and unleashed a fabulous shot which went over the keeper but hit the crossbar and was eventually cleared.Shields were playing the better football now,Zoe again broke forward hit a shot at goal,the keeper made a good a stop,unfortunately for Montagu the ball fell to Charlotte and duly scored.4-2.Moments later 2 Montagu players burst into the box but Frankie was on hand to stop a goal scoring opportunity,she then turned and passed to Levi,she raced forward and blasted in from a tight angle 5-2.A few minutes later Shields were awarded a free kick for a poor tackle from behind on Charlotte 30 yards out.Zoe hit a screamer which the keeper got finger tips on but could not stop.A great goal.6-2.Shields had some defending to do near the end of the half but Hannah,Hanna and Leanne stood strong for a great cup win and well deseved to knock out the league leaders.

MOM CAITLIN ORMAND

Conditions were difficult with a strong cross wind but Shields started the better creating the first attempt on goal ,when Olivia gave Katie a shooting chance but the shot went just wide.Shields continued to press with a shot from Zoe well saved ,then moments later another shot just wide after a clinical pass from Katie.Shields took a deserved lead when Zoe's neat pass to Olivia was turned on to Katie who slotted into the corner 0-1. Shields doubled their lead shortly after when Olivia's shot was blocked and Katie was on hand to force the ball home 0-2.Frankie was working well in midfield and her pressure forced a corner from which she almost scored.She then put Olivia clean through but she shot just over.Olivia and Katie linked up well down the right and put Zoe in with a chance but her shot was narrowly wide.From the dead ball kick Levi smartly intercepted and found Zoe whose fierce shot gave the keeper no chance.0-3. It was all Shields and not surprisingly soon came another goal when Zoe and Katie linked well to force a corner, from which Zoe found Katie who fired hard into the top corner for a deserved hat-trick 0-4.From the restart Morpeth pressed however Emily cut out the attack with strong defensive work.Morpeth saw a little daylight and pressed again for their first shot of the game,which was easily saved by stand in keeper Hanna.Shields countered and a lovely long ball over the top from Katie put Olivia through only for her shot to be saved.Olivia then forced a corner which saw a great delivery by Katie met by Zoe with a superb header 0-5.From the restart the industrious Frankie won the ball in midfield and her great long pass won a corner,which saw Zoe almost repeat her last goal from Katie's delivery. From the goal kick Levi made a smart interception and raced through increasing the score with a cool finish 0-6. Frankie now joined the score sheet smashing in the ball from another sweet corner 0-7.Morpeth responded but twice Leanne stepped in assisted by Rachel too stamp out any danger.

The first 10 minutes was scrappy with both sides congested in midfield and no real chances created.More width was needed and Hannah showed the way when she broke down the right and finished with a fierce shot to make it. 0-8.Shields now had the momentum and sustained pressure resulted in a neat finish by Frankie. 0-9.From the restart Katie and Frankie showed great skills before putting Hanna in who made no mistake 0-10.Olivia finally got the goal she deserved when Hanna's shot was blocked but Olivia was on hand to force home.0-11.More impressive passing skills by Zoe and katie put Emily in to make it 0-12.Morpeth did try to respond but Lilybell was cool under pressure at the back always intercepting and finding a good out-ball.Zoe was unlucky not to get her hat-trick after smashing the ball towards goal,only to be foiled by the woodwork.She then broke up a Morpeth attack,found Katie wide right who left defenders in her wake before finding the back of the net. 0-13.

Both teams and their supporters observed a minutes silence before the game in memory of our fallen heroes.Jaguars were first out of the blocks and their first attack was thwarted by a clearing header by Frankie.Jaguars continued to press but Rachael turned defence into attack with a great tackle and pass to Levi who linked up well with Olivia down the left.Shields first attempt came when Lillybelle put a great pass to Katie on the right who cut inside and hit a good left foot shot that was turned round the post for a corner.From the corner their was a scramble in the box and the alert Frankie forced the ball home from close range.0-1.Shields now had the upper hand and good work down the left saw Levi hit the post.From the goal kick Olivia pressed hard and won the ball and hit a superb shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.0-2.Zoe was commanding the midfield as usual and from the restart set up a move down the right,Katie and Hannah linked up well to force a corner.From the corner Zoe played a clever ball to Olivia who spotted Frankie in the box and Frankie collected the pass ,turned and shot into the corner to make it 0-3.Shields continued to press and soon increased their lead when Katie found Olivia in the box and she forced the ball home.0-4.Jaguars responded but Caitlin saved well at the post after a good attacking move.Shields responded and Olivia was denied a shooting chance by good defending after Katie had put her clean through.Jaguars pushed forward but the terrier like Charlotte broke up the attack and good play by Frankie and Levi earned Shields another corner.The corner caused chaos in the box and when the ball fell to Zoe 20 yards out,she blasted home.0-5.Jaguars fought back and were unlucky with a shot going narrowly wide.From a long kick by Caitlin,Olivia harassed the Jaguars defence and broke clear up the right,her cross was blocked but she raced onto the rebound and slotted the ball into the net for a deserved hat-trick.0-6.

Jaguars were like a different side and could of got an early goal back but for a great save by Caitlin from their No9.Jaguars continued to press and were rewarded with a goal when their No9 hit a neat lob over Caitlin into the roof of the net.1-6.Hannah now playing right wing,made a great run from the restart and put a good ball into Charlotte and her never say die attitude saw her harass three defenders and force the ball in.1-7.Hannah again made a great run down the right and a superb ball in was missed by everyone.One of the best moves of the game saw Hanna,who was dogged in defence,break up a jaguars attack and put a great ball to Rachael who in turn hit a lovely cross field pass to Emily who beat the right back but did'nt spot her 2 teammates in the box and unfortunately her shot was saved.Jaguars hit back and from a corner should have scored but blasted well over the bar.Shields pushed forward and Charlotte set up Emily but her shot was saved.The game was more even now and twice in quick succession Leanne came to the rescue with great covering tackles.Shields pushed forward and Charlotte hit a fierce shot from outside the box which somehow their keeper tipped over.Katie came back on to the right wing and her and Frankie showed excellent one -touch passing down the right.Frankie put a good ball to Katie on the right and she showed great ball skills to beat two defenders before putting a perfect pass to Emily who somehow shot wide from 2 yards out.Frankie was working well in midfield and when she put Hanna clear the latter made no mistake with a clinical finish.1-8.From the restart Leanne broke up a Jaguars attack and the ball ended with Katie on the right who showed great strength to fight off 3 defenders before picking out the luckless Emily who shot straight at the keeper.

Today's game began evenly matched with both sides creating chances,firstly from Shields with Frankie producing a good cross in from the right but the keeper read the danger and collected well.Moments later Hannah found herself under pressure by two jaguar attackers and Cooley stepped around them before sending a great ball up the line to start another attack for the home side.Levi was causing the jaguars all sorts of problems down the left,linking up with Zoe and Olivia to produce a chance for Frankie but unfortunately her header went wide.Wing play was working well for Shields,now it was Emily's turn down the right to give Jaguar's a headache producing a brilliant cross only to be cleared after a goal mouth scramble.Both Hannah and Rachael were showing no mercy today cutting out all the Jaguar's attacks brilliantly.The first goal came when Rachael passed to Levi to Frankie who's shot was spilled by the keeper and Emily was on hand to tap in.1-0.Zoe used her strength to dispossess the Jaguar's in midfield passed to Olivia to Levi who smashed the ball under the keeper.2-0.From the restart Jaguar's had their first attempt at goal but Caitlin was her usual self and saved well.Some great unselfish teamwork by shields involving Hannah,Charlotte Katie and Olivia eventually ending in a shot by Levi going just wide.Late on in the half Olivia intercepted a Jaguar pass,drove forward,passed to Levi who made no mistake to make 3-0.

Shields pressed from the start with shot's from both Zoe and Levi saved well.It was'nt long before Shields had the ball in the net when Katie intercepted a Jaguar's throw.controlled and put a through ball to Hanna who rounded the keeper and slotted in.4-0.Shields went 5-0 up after Hanna saw her shot going wide only for a unlucky Jaguar defender to put in their own net.Shields attacked again and a shot by Zoe was spilled,the ball fell to Charlotte with her back to goal,turned and blasted in.6-0.Great skill by katie when she beat two players and passed to Hanna who's shot was well saved.Hanna soon got her second goal using great skill to knock it through the keepers legs.7-0.On a rare Jaguar attack,Rachael came to the rescue with a great tackle.The final goal came from Charlotte,when great work by Katie working the ball down the right produced an inch perfect cross cutting out the Jaguar,s defence and Charlotte slotted under the keeper.8-0.

In windy conditions Cramlington started the brighter team but could not penerate the strong Shields defence. Within 5 minutes Shields began to get into their stride, when they broke free forcing a corner from which Katie rattled the post but Olivia was on hand to knock the ball in following a scramble in the box 1-0.Moments later Charlotte broke up a Cramlington attack passing to Levi who cut in from the left with pace driving the ball home 2-0.From the restart Zoe commanded the midfield winning the ball then striding forward doing a one two with Charlotte, followed by an inch perfect pass to Emily who slotted in well 3-0.Shields pressure won another corner from which both Zoe and Katie had a shot only to be foiled by the cross bar.Zoe was involved again after strong play pushing forward followed by another great pass to set up Levi who's shot gave the keeper no chance 4-0.Towards the end of the half a short corner was lobbed in by Katie to Zoe who smashed the ball home ending the first half 5-0.

BEDLINGTON TIGERS v NORTH SHIELDS SAT 22nd OCTOBER 2011

FIRST HALF

For the second consecutive game against Bedlington this time in the league saw a scrappy start to the match for the first 10 minutes until Katie's inch perfect cross was tapped in by Olivia.0-1.Katie again worked the line and crossed,this time it was Levi who slotted home into the corner.0-2.Moments later it was Levi again who latched onto a through ball by Olivia to make it 0-3.Levi then grabbed her hatrick after passing the ball into the net 0-4. It was Katie's turn to supply the thru ball for Olivia who cooly lifted it over the keeper.0-5.Against the run of play Bedlington broke and their striker was one on one with Caitlin who stood strong and pulled off a great save.5 minutes later Katie broke down the wing and blasted a shot over the keeper only to see it hit the cross bar and fortunately for Bedlington,Shields were unable to force the rebound home.Towards the end of the half Lianne and Hannah broke up a Bedlington attack,passed to Katie who's cross was narrowly hit wide by Zoe.

SECOND HALF

Shields started where they left and good play by Katie,Levi,Frankie saw Charlotte tap in.0-6.Shields made it seven when Katie's shot from a tight angle was spilled and Charlotte passed the ball into the net.0-7.Levi grabbed her fourth of the game with a thundershot over the keeper.0-8.Emily then pounced on a Bedlington mistake passed the ball to Charlotte who made it 0-9.Emily was involved again when her shot was spilled by the keeper and Katie hammered home.0-10.A great individual goal by Charlotte who ran the full length of the pitch and placed the ball into the corner of the net.0-11.Hannah hit a fierce shot to make it 0-12 after she had collected Olivia's cross.Emily scored the 13th goal.In the final minutes Frankie saw her shot pushed past the post,from the resulting corner Olivia netted.0-14.

MOM LIANNE ADLARD

Shields started well when Katie cut in from the right wing and shot only to be pushed out by the keeper where Charlotte latched onto the rebound and shot just wide.Another attempt by Charlotte produced a great save, from the resulting corner Zoe smashed the ball just wide.Moments later Shields won a free kick where Frankie blasted the ball just over the bar.Eventually the 1st goal came when great work by Rachel and Olivia saw Hanna shoot, the keeper could only half save and Charlotte was on hand to slot home the rebound 0-1. Great passing by Zoe and Katie gave Zoe a shot on goal only to go just wide.It was soon 0-2 when a rebound fell to Levi who slotted it home after a fierce shot by Hanna.Towards the end of the half Shields won another free kick where Levi's shot was parried away but Katie slotted home the rebound to make it a well deserved 0-3.

The Bedlington keeper was called into action straight from the kick off when a cross by Zoe was met by Charlotte pushing it around the post. From the resulting corner a great shot by Levi unfortunately hit the post but Charlotte finished it off making it 0-4.From the restart Katie put Charlotte clean through and she made no mistake to get her hat-trick 0-5.This time it was Levi who was put clean through and she blasted into the corner making it 0-6.Bedlington's attacks were few and far between and were easily dealt with by Shields solid defence.It was Levi's turn to get her well deserved hat-trick when she cooly slotted the ball past the keeper 0-7.A deserved victory which could have produced even more goals if it hadn't been for the performance of the Bedlington keeper.

Today saw the top of the table clash and it was Shields who applied the pressure in the first 10 minutes,they should of gone ahead when Zoe put Olivia through and her shot had the keeper beaten but went wide.This time great interplay between Hanna and Levi saw again Olivia's shoot agonisingly wide.This time the puma,s were on the attack and a long hopeful ball forward was not dealt with by the Shields defence and the puma,s striker opened the scoring.1-0.Shortly after the restart a poor tackle on Zoe resulted in a free kick to Shields,Zoe's shot was goal bound but somehow was cleared off the line.In the latter stages of the half it was Fenham who put the away side under pressure and could of gone further ahead had it not been for some great defending especially by Hannah.

After a mediocre first half,Shields started to pass the ball around like we all know they can therefore creating chances,Charlotte put a great cross into Frankie who saw her shot go over,moments later Shields got there reward when great play by Katie put Charlotte through who rounded the keeper and slotted in 1-1.Charlotte then scored again only for the goal to be given offside.Shields were given a free kick when a Fenham player pulled Zoe back just outside 18 yard box,the resulting shot unfortunately went wide.Katie then dribbled past 2 players in the oppositions box and passed to Zoe who saw her goal bound shot deflected behind.Soon after the puma's went ahead under dubious circumstances when a ball across the Shields box saw a Fenham player do a two footed tackle which injured Charlotte,the ball span out to the striker who smashed the ball in,the goal should not of stood.In the dying minutes the ref blew for a blatant back pass,the resulting indirect free kick was volleyed wide.

Unfortunately Shields had to play the 1st 10 minutes with only 7 players, however the first chance fell to Shields with a trademark Zoe long throw into the box where Frankie headed well but was somehow cleared off the line.A few minutes later saw a great break by the wildcats and a fierce shot gave Caitlin no chance 0-1.Pressure by Shields saw Zoe hit a 30 yard screamer but the keeper tipped the ball over.Soon after Zoe took a throw to Katie who controlled well then passed to Hanna who's shot was pushed wide.Levi took a short corner to Katie who drilled the ball across the face of the goal for a easy tap in by Hanna 1-1.Moments later Shields took the lead when Hanna's shot rebounded to Katie who lashed the ball into the net 2-1.Shields then gave away a needless free kick resulting in a unfortunate spillage on the line 2-2. Five minutes later wildcats went ahead when a unmarked player had a free header in the box 2-3.Just before the break saw the wildcat increase their lead with a great chip over the keeper 2-4.

Within minutes of the kick off Shields opened the scoring when Levi picked up a loose ball passing to Hanna who dribbled through and lashed the first goal into the bottom corner of the net 0-1. A great cross by Zoe and Katie hit a half volley only to be foiled by the keeper.Another great attacking move started by Levi to Hanna and finished off well by Charlotte 0-2. Shields were in full flow now with Katie beating 2 players down the right and putting in a cross, shot hit by Frankie just wide.Soon came another goal with great play between Katie and frankie who's shot was narrowly wide,giving Levi an easy tap in 0-3. Great goal kick by Caitlin to Levi then Zoe who hit a fantastic long range shot into the top corner giving the keeper no chance 0-4. Olivia was solid at the back collecting up a loose ball, finding Katie who crossed in to be lashed home by Hannah 0-5. A persistant run by Katie then cutting in with a left foot shot making it 0-6. Great run through by Emily who smashed the ball at keeper it re-bounded out to Hannah slicing it over th bar.Strong defensive play by Rachel at the back gave Cramlington no chance of getting through.Frankie bought the ball out of defense passed to Katie then back to Frankie to finish off well 0-7. Soon the ball was swung back into the box like a pinball it hit a few players only to be finished off well by Levi 0-8. Three more goals came from Shields before half time two re-bounded shots where Emily was well positioned to tap them in,then finally a brilliant long ball by Zoe to Olivia who controlled well smashing the ball home ending the first half 0-11.

Shields started strong again with a shot within minutes of the restart by Olivia, unfortunately blocked with a handball giving the referee no choice but to point to the penalty stop.Rachel stepped up converting with a well taken penalty 0-12. Soon after Zoe smacked a sweet shot only to be palmed away bravely by the Cramlington keeper.From the midfield katie flicked on a ball to Emily who made no mistake,giving her a hat-trick and making it 0-13.From a goal kick Zoe controlled well passed to Hannah then to Levi who lashed it home for another hat-trick and 0-14.Substained pressure by Shields lead to a perfect placed ball into the back of the net by Emily 0-15.A number of one twos by Levi and Katie ended in another fab goal for Levi 0-16. Olivia became involved down the wing slamming the ball home from a tight angle 0-17.A scramble in the box ended in Zoe converting well 0-18.A quick throw in by Levi to Katie who stepped through the Cramlington defence to blast home 0-19.Strength in midfield by Zoe created another goal with Levi smashing home from 25 yards 0-20. Moments later Katie latched onto a re-bounded ball for her hat-trick making it 0-21.The final goal came from Charlotte bursting through the middle making it 0-22.

Shields dominated from the start and within minutes Katie dribbled the ball down the right wing and put a inch perfect cross to Frankie who made no mistake to make it 1-0. 2 minutes later Hanna collected the ball in midfield drove forward and cooly slotted home 2-0.This time a great lobb into the box by Katie was headed in by the ever alert Frankie 3-0. On her debut Rachel who was playing left back stepped past two players to slot a perfect ball to Hanna who shot into the corner 4-0.From the re-start a loose pass by Morpeth fell to Levi,passed to Zoe who hit a great shot 5-0.Moments later Olivia picked up the ball from a long Morpeth clearance danced through their players and hit a shot which the keeper saved but spilt and Katie was on hand to slot in the re-bound 6-0.This time Katie took a corner and it was Olivia's turn to score 7-0.From the left Levi tapped the ball through to Charlotte who stepped over it for Katie to push in 8-0.After another good corner which took a slight deflection to Hannah who smashed home a great long range shot 9-0.A long ball forward from defence found lily who placed the ball perfectly into the back of the net 10-0.

Shields were quickly on the attack again when a long ball by Katie found Charlotte who drilled it home 11-0.Moments later Shields won a corner which Hanna fired into the box to be met well by Lily making it 12-0.Shields crosses were firing in from all angles and soon one was met by Hanna to give her a well deserved hat-trick and make it 13-0.Seconds later another goal and hat- trick as Frankie lashed the ball home to making it 14-0, after a brilliant cross whipped in by Emily.Frankie soon broke away again drilling the ball past the keeper 15-0. Olivia collected the ball from midfield skipping down the left to power the ball into the back of the net 16-0.Soon after Katie dribbled the ball through then lobbed it over to Charlotte to tap in 17-0.In the final minutes two more Shields players earned their hat-trick firstly Katie from a tight angle 18-0,followed by Charlotte to end it 19-0.Although Shields dominated the game Morpeth players heads never dropped and their team spirit was a credit to them and their management.

First league game of the season began brightly with both teams looking evenly matched but it was North Shields who had the first chance when a poor goal kick resulted in great interception by Hanna who's shot went narrowly wide.Ashington went straight on the attack forcing a corner but the North Shields defence stood strong and easily cleared.North Shields continued to press when Zoe passed to Levi who slotted the ball past the keeper to make it 0-1.A few minutes later Shields went further ahead when Levi hit a thunderous shot from the right wing which gave their keeper no chance 0-2.Ashington tried to reply with a good shot which was equalled by a good save by Caitlin.Shields broke up an Ashington attack and good control by Charlotte then passing to Hanna who placed it perfecly past the keeper 0-3.Just before half time Katie earned and took a corner where Hanna had a goal bound shot cleared off the line.

From the kick off good wing play by Katie who did a one,two with Zoe ending in a good shot saved well.Ashington piled on the pressure but resolute defending by Lianne,Hannah,Olivia and Lily kept them out.Shields responded when a long ball by Caitlin was controlled by Zoe who's shot glided just over the bar.Zoe involved again with a great long throw to Katie who turned and slotted the ball through to Charlotte who shot just wide.Cool control and pass by Olivia found Levi who crossed the ball in, Lily shot causing a great save and Zoe pushed the rebound just wide.A fabulous flowing move starting with Olivia involving 5 Shields players ended with a unstoppable shot into the top corner by Lily to make it 0-4.With only minutes to go a great pass by Hanna put in Emily who slotted it home to make the final score 0-5.
